Ohope Beach

Ohope Beach is known as New Zealand’s Best Beach and is suitable for a wide range of beach activities. The beach is 11km long and is frequented by families, surfers, fishing enthusiasts and beach lovers. There are lifeguard patrols located at popular swimming areas during the summer months.

Our Nova 102mmb AZ3  Refractor Telescope – ideal for viewing the moon and studying the constellations – great for all those interested in doing a bit of star gazing.

Ohiwa Harbour

Ohiwa Harbour is located in the southern half of Ohope. The Harbour is a haven for sightseeing, walks, fishing, kayaking and boat trips. The Harbour has a shallow estuary which provides perfect opportunities.
